Shocking news for Maruti Suzuki jimny lovers

Maruti Suzuki's Jimny will be manufactured with five-doors in its Gujrat plant, India.
If this vehicle was on your wishlist, then you must have attended auto expo 2020, where it was showcased with three doors but, now what you have seen will not be delivered by Maruti. You will not see three-doors Jimmy to be sold in the Indian market. Soon it will be loaded with 5-door Jimny, which is more suitable for family buyers.

Now it will be interesting to see the changes to be made in the dimensions, especially its longer wheelbase, which plays a vital role while off-roading. Apart from its size, there will be no changes, as its essential ingredients will be the same as three-door Jimny. Ladder-frame chassis will be used to built five-door Jimny with rigid axles at both ends, which support in four-wheel drive. It will be powered by 105hp, 1.5 liters K15B petrol engine, which also powers Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Vitara Brezza, and Ertiga.

For export, Maruti Suzuki's Hansalpur plant in Gujrat will start manufacturing of the three-door Jimny around June 2020, while the production of five-door Jimny will be started after six months of its creation. Maruti Jimny will be seen on its premium Nexa outlets and will be priced around 10 lakhs.
