New Delhi: The year 2019 was nothing short of a nightmare for the automobile industry as the auto sector suffered a huge downturn this year and the trend is still intact. If you look at the last year's car sales figures, it is found that the highest 81% people in the country have bought cars that are worth less than ₹ 1000000 (Car Sale Report).

According to a report, in the year 2019, 21% of people bought work worth less than ₹ 500000. At the same time, 33% of people who bought cars worth 5 lakh to 7.5 lakh. 27% of people bought cars between 7.5 lakh to 1000000 rupees.

There are a very small number of buyers who have bought a budget car above 1500000 rupees. Around 14% of the people are those who have bought a budget car in the country of Rs.10000,000 to Rs.15 lakh.
