BS6 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG launched in India, starting price ₹ 6.62 Lakh
The Grand i10 Nios with CNG kit has been made available in two variants - Magna and Sports, with an initial showroom price of Rs 6.62 lakhs.
South Korean automaker Hyundai has launched the CNG model of the BS6 Grand i10 Nios hatchback in the Indian market. The BS6 Grand i10 Nios equipped with a CNG kit has been made available in two variants - Magna and Sports, with an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 6.62 lakh. Hyundai India launched the Grand i10 Neos in August last year, and till then the petrol engine of the car was introduced according to BS6 standards.
However, the diesel model of the vehicle is still with the BS4 engine. Now the company has also shared the information about the BS6 diesel variant of this car, and it is believed that this model is ready for launch.
The CNG variants of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios have been introduced in the same style and design, which is the petrol variant of the car. The ex-showroom price of the car's 1.2-litre CNG Sport variant has been kept at Rs 7.16 lakh.
The new Grand i10 Nios has been introduced with a new fresh face. The car comes with projector lamps with a new headlamp cluster. The grille of the vehicle has also been redesigned, and the body inside comes with two boomerangs LED running lights.
The car's foglamps triangular housing is given. This car is much better in design and has a premium look at a lower price. The car's dashboard has 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with smartphone connectivity. Steering and AC vents are sourced from the Hyundai Venue, and the interior of the vehicle is equipped with new ivory-grey fabric upholstery that makes it more premium.
Talking about the engine, the same 1.2-liter petrol and diesel engines have been provided with the Grand i10 Nios. The car's 1.2-liter petrol engine generates 82 bhp power and 114 Nm peak torque, which is available in 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes.
The 1.2-liter diesel engine on the Grand i10 Nios produces 74 bhp power and 190 Nm peak torque, which is also equipped with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox. A BS and EBD, dual airbags, rear parking sensors, driver and passenger seatbelt reminders, and speed alert systems are standard with the car.
