Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear BS6 launched in India; Price ₹ 59,802
Bajaj Auto has launched the Platina 110 H-Gear BS6 model in India. The Platina 110 H-Gear has now received the same variant and is priced at ₹ 59,802 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
BS6 Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear has been launched by Bajaj in India for Rs 59,802 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Bajaj says that 'H' in H gear means 'Happy' and 'Highway.' The motorcycle has now got only one variant, and the drum brake variant has been discontinued.
The Platina has been a successful bike sold in Bajaj's 100–110 cc segment, and even after five years, it sells well for the company. The BS6 model of the motorcycle has a 115 cc fuel-injected engine that produces 8.4 bhp at 7,000 rpm and a 9.81 Nm peak torque output at 5,000 rpm.
The motorcycle gets the same 5-speed gearbox as before, which is not common in the 110 cc motorcycle segment. But like the rest of the 100-110 cc bike with a 4-speed gearbox, it too gets an all-down gear-shift pattern.
According to the company, fifth gear increases performance as well as mileage. The Platina H-Gear claims a distance of 84 kmpl. The next wheel has a 240 mm disc with Bajaj's anti-skid braking system in the Platina 110 H-gear.
Apart from the BS6 engine, there are no other changes on the motorcycle. The frame and suspension of the bike are also the same. The Platina has best-in-class suspension travel with 135 mm in front and 110 mm in the rear, allowing it a comfortable ride. Bajaj Platina 110 will compete with bikes like Hero Splendor, TVS Star City in the H-Gear market.
