Upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX Electric SUV Spotted – Launch Likely In 2025
Maruti Suzuki eVX Spotted Testing
The latest spy shots of the eVX suggest the production-spec electric SUV could retain some of the design elements that were showcased in the concept. Like the show car, the test mule features short overhangs and swollen haunches. The test mule also revealed other details like an upright front fascia, LED projector headlamps, wide front air intakes, a roof spoiler, connected tail lamps, and rear door handles on the C-pillars.
While the interior of the eVX was not visible in the latest spy shots, earlier images of a test mule that was spied testing in Poland suggests that the production-spec eVX could offer a tall dashboard with a free-floating touchscreen infotainment system flanked by vertical AC vents, a digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, touch-based HVAC controls, ambient lighting, 360-degree parking cameras, a 2-spoke steering wheel, electrically adjustable seats, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Reports suggest that the upcoming eVX from Maruti Suzuki could be based on Toyota’s electric skateboard platform and at the Auto Expo, the brand revealed that the electric SUV will feature a 60kWh battery pack. While the precise details of the eVX’s powertrain are not available at the moment, we expect to offer a real-world driving range of around 400km on a single charge. The Maruti Suzuki eVX’s primary rivals would be the recently updated Tata Nexon EV and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV. The electric SUV is expected to be manufactured at Maruti Suzuki’s manufacturing plant in Gujarat and we expect its prices to start from Rs. 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
