Yamaha hiked Fascino 125 FI for the first time, a slight increase in the price
The Fascino 125 FI is powered by a 125 cc blue core single-cylinder fuel-injected engine that generates 8 bhp power and 9.7 Nm of peak torque.
Yamaha Motor India has increased the prices of the Fascino 125 FI. The increased price of the scooter has been made available on the company's website and the starting price of the Yamaha Fascino 125 FI has now been Rs 67,230 for its drum brake variants.
The company has increased the price of the scooter by Rs 800. The Fascino 125 FI was launched in December last year and its ex-showroom price in India was kept at Rs 66,430. The Fascino 125 FI has now become Yamaha's entry-level scooter as the company stopped selling its 110 cc scooter in early 2020. Yamaha Motor India has started the delivery of the new scooter in February 2020.
Apart from increasing the prices, the Fascino 125 FI has been kept the same. The new Yamaha Fascino 125 FI features a 125 cc blue core single-cylinder fuel-injected engine that generates 8 bhp power and 9.7 Nm of peak torque.
Yamaha says that the engine in the new scooter is more than 30 percent stronger than the 113 cc engine currently being sold, while the mileage of the new scooter has been claimed to be 58 km/liter, which is 16 percent more than the previous model. The Yamaha Fascino 125 FI comes with a new start / stop function and it has also been given a traffic mode which works better in the event of a jam.
Yamaha Motor India has also introduced a new start motor-generator in the new scooter, which makes very little noise when starting the scooter. The 125cc model has been given a retro-themed design language as compared to the 113cc model which comes with metallic color options and a lot of chrome detailing.
The scooter has 12-inch alloy wheels which comes with a unified braking system or CBS. Apart from this, the new Fascino has come with a side-stand cutoff switch, multi-functional key, foldable hooks, USB charging, and many features.
