Bajaj Auto has sold 861 units of its latest launch motorcycle Dominar 250, in India in March 2020. The company launched this bike in India on 11 March 2020, and these sales took place before the lockdown was released across the country. However, this figure is from wholesale and not retailer.

Apart from this, Bajaj dealers started taking bookings of the new Bajaj Dominar 250 a month before the launch of this bike. The ex-showroom price of new Dominar 250 in Delhi has been kept at Rs 1.60 lakh. This is a smaller version of Dominar 400, and the company wants to taste the same success with this motorcycle that the company has felt in the Bajaj Dominar 400.

Bajaj is describing it as a Spartes touring machine that has an engine taken from the KTM 250 Duke. This single-cylinder engine of 248.8 ccs generates 26 bhp power at 8500 rpm and 23.5 Nm peak torque at 6500 rpm. The company has made this engine with BS6 standards, which has been given a slipper clutch with a 6-speed gearbox. Bajaj Auto claims that the Dominar 250 has a top speed of 132 km / h, and it takes only 10.5 seconds to catch 0-100 km / h.

The next part of the Bajaj Dominar 250 has been given the USD forks, and the rear section has adjustable mono-shock suspension. Talking about braking, 230mm disc brakes have been provided in the rear wheel along with 300mm disc in the next wheel, with this the company has also made dual-channel ABS available in the new bike.

To cover long distances in the bike, a comfortable seat and fuel tank have a secondary display, which gives information about time, gear position, and trip. The Bajaj Dominar 250 has an auto headlamp feature with full LED headlamps and twin-barrel exhaust that make it sporty. The company will sell this bike in only one variant and two colors, which include Cayenne Red and Wine Black.
