Bookings for 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Z650 BS6 begin in India

The 2020 Kawasaki Z650 BS6 was introduced in December last year, and the bike's ex-showroom price was kept from Rs 6.25 lakh to Rs 6.50 lakh.

India Kawasaki Motor has started bookings of Ninja 650 and Z650 with a BS6 engine in India. With several significant changes, dealerships have started taking bookings of the 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Kawasaki Z650. 

The 2020 Kawasaki Z650 BS6 was introduced in December last year, and the bike's ex-showroom price was kept from Rs 6.25 lakh to Rs 6.50 lakh, while the 2020 Ninja 650 was added in January this year with the showroom price ranging from Rs 6.65 lakh to Rs 6.79 lakh. She goes. Both these bikes were to be launched in April 2020, but due to the Corona pandemic, this launch has been postponed.

The 2020 Kawasaki Z650 BS6 has received several significant changes, including attractive headlamp coal and LED treatment inspired by the Z900. Along with the bike, a new TFT display and radiology app has been given, which connects to Bluetooth of SmartFol. The Z650 BS6 is powered by the same 649 ccs parallel-twin engine that generates 67.3 bhp power at 8,000 rpm and 64 Nm peak torque at 6,700 rpm. The company has given the bike engine a 6-speed gearbox.

The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650 BS6 has also been given similar upgrades, including attractive fairing and a new sculpted fuel tank as well as a redesigned rear. The bike has now been given features such as LED bulbs, a 4.3-inch TFT screen with twin handlamps, and a radiology app on the lines of the 2020 model. The Ninja 650 has a 649 cc engine with BS6 standards that generate 66.4 bhp power at 8,000 rpm and 64 Nm peak torque at 6,700 rpm. The company has made minor changes in the power output of the bike.

Kawasaki India Motor has kept many parts similar to these bikes, including thick telescopic forks in the front and mono-shock suspension setup in the rear. The rear end braking system gets dual-channel ABS with petal discs. 

In the new bikes, the Ninja 650 has been introduced in two colors - Lime Green Ebony and Pearl Flat Stardust White, while the Z650 BS6 has been introduced in only one color metallic spark black. The price of the new bike has increased by Rs 55,000 as compared to the BS4 model. The delivery of the bike will start after the lockdown opens.
