The current generation Kia Picanto hatchback has been sold in the international market since 2017. Now the company is working on the mid-cycle facelift of this car which has been seen without any stickers. The platform of the Kia Picanto hatchback is derived from the international version of the Hyundai i10.

Let us know that both of them look quite similar in terms of size, but it is more than the Hyundai Grand i10 Neos which is being sold in the Indian market. The Kia Picanto was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and so far no initiative has been shown by the company to launch the car in India.

The spy image has revealed that the replaced headlamps will be provided with Kia Picanto, with four LED DRLs with projector headlamps. The front of the car has a signature Kia's signature Tiger nose grille and dual-tone bumpers with large-sized vents on either side. 

The silver inserts of the car give it a more attractive look. The rear of the Kia Picanto gets new LED taillights and a rear bumper replaced with chrome exhaust tips. Apart from this, the company has given Sharkfin antenna and Duan-tone alloy wheels with hatchback.

The engine of the updated Kia Motor updated Picanto hatchback is going to be taken from the model currently being sold. The car has been made available in three engine options including a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbo-petrol and a 1.25-liter 4-cylinder petrol unit. 

The car is normally equipped with a 4-speed automatic gearbox in a 5-speed manual and 1.25-liter engine. Kia Motor India has not made any indication about the launch of this car in the country, although the company has already launched Kia Celtos and Kia Carnival MPV for the Indian market. The next big launch of Kia in our market will be Kia Sonnet which will be launched by the end of the year.
