After Venue, Elantra, Creta, and Verna, the new i20 will now get Hyundai's BlueLink connected car technology. The car can be launched in India in late 2020 or early 2021.

The third-generation Hyundai i20 is the South Korean car giant's next major launch in India, and the company has confirmed that it will be a connected car. Tarun Garg, director of sales, marketing, and service, Hyundai Motor India, said, "We have already said that Hyundai is going to take big steps towards i20 connectivity. We think today, "The customer wants to stay connected, and the level of connectivity continues to go up. If you look at the new Creta, I think we have increased the bluelink one level."

Hyundai India's line up consists of four vehicles in the country that come with the BlueLink technology - Venue, Verna, Creta, and Elantra. At the same time, the soon-to-be-launched Tussen facelift will also be a connected SUV.

This will become the new i20 Hyundai's sixth connectivity car in India. The Venue and Elantra come with 33 and 34 connected car features, the newly launched Verna facelift gets 45 features, and the new Creta adds 50 elements, including voice command function to open/close the sunroof Is included.

The new Hyundai i20 also gets fresh styling with a new front grille, new LED headlamps with LED DRLs. Apart from new 17-inch alloy wheels, LED taillamps and a rear diffuser are also provided. The car's cabin has two new 10.25-inch screens, a digital cluster, and a navigation touchscreen, which runs with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The vehicle will also get a 1.0-liter turbo petrol motor with 1.2-liter petrol and diesel engines. Transmission options include both manual and automatic.
