2024 Hyundai Creta EV Spotted In South Korea With Fake Exhaust Tips
Hyundai Creta EV Spied With Fake Exhaust Tip
The ICE-powered Hyundai Creta is expected to get a facelift in early 2024. It is likely to offer a revamped front and rear design with new styling elements that conform with Hyundai’s latest design language. The most noticeable element in the Creta EV test mule is the large fake exhaust tips at the rear. The side profile is likely to remain largely unchanged. Based on previous spy shots, we could expect the Creta EV to feature the brand’s new ‘Parametric’ grille as seen in the Venue facelift.
Meanwhile, the LED DRLs get a revision as well and look closer to the one offered in the Venue facelift rather than the daytime running lamps offered in the recently-unveiled Tucson facelift. The front bumper-mounted LED headlamps are likely to get a vertical orientation this time around. At the rear, we could expect Hyundai to offer the Creta EV with H-shaped connected LED tail lamps and it could even feature reflector elements on either side of the bumper. Overall, the Hyundai Creta EV is likely to look boxier than before, which could split opinion just like before.

As far as the interior is concerned, we expect Hyundai to reposition the touchscreen infotainment system just as they did in the Tucson facelift. So we could expect the digital driver’s display and the touchscreen infotainment system to sit within a single panel with AC vents and controls positioned just below the central screen.
Hyundai Creta EV Expected Powertrain
The Hyundai Creta EV is expected to feature the same electric powertrain as the upcoming Kia Seltos EV. While both carmakers are yet to reveal the exact specification, we expect the Creta EV to come packed with a 50-70kWh battery pack with the option of a single or dual-motor setup. Expect the Creta EV to produce between 150PS - 200PS of power and a claimed driving range of over 400km. When launched, the Hyundai Creta EV will take on the upcoming Tata Curvv EV, Tata Harrier EV and the MG ZS EV, among others. We expect the Hyundai Creta EV to roll out before the Kia Seltos EV, while both could offer similar features and performance.
