Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has quietly increased the prices of Honda Activa 125 with BS6 standards. Now, the Honda Activa BS6's starting ex-showroom price in Delhi is Rs 68,042, which goes up to Rs 75,042 for the top model. The prices of all three variants of the scooter - drum, alloy, and disc options have been increased by Rs 552.

The Activa 125 is the first BS6-engined scooter in the Indian market from Honda two-wheelers that the company launched in September last year. This scooter, sold in the country, has been introduced by the company with a new frame, the engine that has come with major changes and many new features.

The 124cc BS6 engine in the new Honda Activa 125 is fuel-injected but less powerful than the carbureted BS4 version of the scooter. This updated engine generates 8.1 bhp power at 6,500 rpm and 8.52 bhp power at 6,500 rpm. It has been said that these lighter parts of the engine reduce friction resulting in better performance.

The new model also gets enhanced smart power - or ECS - with Honda Ecotechnology, which adds a noiseless alternating current generator - ACG - starter to the scooter. The new Activa comes in several updated colors including Rebel Red Metallic, Heavy Gray Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Pearl Precious White and Magistic Brown Metallic.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has also updated the design of the new Activa 125 and has redesigned tail lamps with LED headlight and position lamps with chrome finish on the scooter's next apron and side panels. The multifunctional key of the scooter has also been updated and now comes with remote fuel lid operation along with remote seat hatch operation.

Now the fuel tank lid has been placed on the outside. The full digital console has now been replaced with part analog and part digital console. The company has given a general warranty of 3 years on the scooter, which can be increased to 3 years and 6 years.
